Qiddiya Unveils Region's Largest National Tennis Centre

Saudi Arabia is set to become a major player in the international tennis scene with the unveiling of the National Tennis Centre in Qiddiya City. Developed by the Qiddiya Investment Company, the new complex is designed to be the largest of its kind in the Middle East and among the most technologically advanced globally. Construction is already underway, with the facility being designed by the renowned sports architecture firm Populous.

The National Tennis Centre is being built to meet ATP, WTA, and ITF standards. Its strategic location within Qiddiya City, envisioned as a capital for entertainment, sport, and culture, positions it to host prestigious global tennis tournaments. Beyond elite competition, the center is intended to foster grassroots participation and serve as a national hub for developing Saudi tennis talent.

This announcement signifies a significant expansion of Qiddiya City's offerings, following recent openings like Six Flags Qiddiya City and the water park Aquarabia. The development underscores Saudi Arabia's ambition to diversify its economy and establish itself as a premier destination for sports and entertainment on the world stage.
