Quiniela Nacional: Nocturna Draw Results for August 8 Forthcoming

The Quiniela de la Ciudad, formerly known as the Quiniela Nacional, is set to announce the winning numbers for its Nocturna draw on Saturday, August 8. This lottery is Argentina's most popular game of chance and is overseen by the Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.

Unlike games with fixed prize pools, the Quiniela determines winnings based on the number of correct matches. There is a cap on the house's payout, limited to five times the amount collected. The game's structure allows players to bet on numbers ranging from one to four digits.

Drawings are conducted using four main ball machines to form the numbers (millar, centena, decena, and unidad) and a fifth machine to determine the position of the winning number on the board. The balls are numbered from 0 to 9 for the number machines and 1 to 20 for the position machine.
