Quito job fair to offer 4,000 vacancies

Quito is set to host its largest job fair in history this Friday, July 17, 2026, with the municipal administration, through the ConQuito agency, announcing the availability of 4,000 job openings. The Quito Exhibition Center will serve as the venue where nearly 100 companies from the productive sector will present their vacancies, aiming to bridge the gap between local talent and market demands.

This event is a landmark for the city, reflecting a significant engagement from the private sector. It solidifies the fair as a primary mechanism for connecting skilled individuals with current labor market needs. The initiative is a key component of the Employability Route, a strategy promoted by Mayor Pabel Muñoz. This broader strategy encompasses services such as the Metropolitan Employment Exchange, the Metropolitan Training Agenda, and direct management of corporate vacancies.

Gonzalo Criollo, executive director of ConQuito, emphasized the crucial role of public-private alliances in this endeavor. He stated that the core objective is to generate tangible solutions for families by facilitating access to employment opportunities within Quito. This collaborative approach underscores the city's commitment to fostering economic growth and supporting its residents.

Participation in the fair is free, but interested citizens must secure one of the 14,000 available slots through pre-registration on the website www.conquito.org.ec, starting Wednesday, July 15.
