Raashii Khanna begins shooting for Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Farzi 2’

Actress Raashii Khanna has officially started filming for the highly anticipated "Farzi 2," reprising her role as RBI Officer Megha Vyas. She shared glimpses from the set on her official Instagram, delighting fans.

Khanna posted a series of photos, including one where she enjoys a mocha grande and another showing her getting her makeup done. A particularly thematic picture features her holding a 500 rupee note, a nod to the show's focus on counterfeiting and crime. Lead actor Shahid Kapoor began shooting for the second season in March, announcing his return with a black-and-white photo alongside the show's creators, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna Dasarakothapalli. Kapoor had previously confirmed "Farzi 2" was in the works in February, hinting at the return of "the fakers."

The first season of "Farzi," created by Raj and DK, premiered on Amazon Prime Video on February 10, 2023. It featured a core cast including Shahid Kapoor, Raashii Khanna, Vijay Sethupathi, and Kay Kay Menon. The eight-episode series centered on a small-time con artist, played by Kapoor, who gets entangled in the criminal underworld.

In other news, Khanna recently received a special gift, the book "Living with the Himalayan Masters," from Tamil superstar Rajinikanth. She shared a video explaining that Rajinikanth gifted her the book while they were working together on her upcoming film "Dharman." Khanna described the book as a profound reflection on spirituality and the disconnection among people, noting that Rajinikanth playfully threatened to test her on it.

Living with the Himalayan Masters found me in a very special way. I was on the sets of Dharman, shooting with Rajinikanth sir. During one of our conversations, we ended up talking about spirituality. He asked me if I had read this book; I hadn’t. Two days later, he brought a copy and gifted it to me. I have been reading it diligently over the last couple of weeks because he also mentioned that he would test me on it. Anyway, I love it already, and every now and then, I come across a page that makes me stop.
