The Moroccan capital, Rabat, is enjoying an exceptional tourist season, signaling a strong recovery and growth in its hospitality sector. Recent data indicates a significant surge in visitor numbers, leading to a remarkable increase in hotel occupancy rates.

In June 2026, hotels in Rabat achieved an average occupancy rate of 66 percent. This figure marks a substantial 9 percent rise compared to June of the previous year, demonstrating a clear upward trend in tourism.
