Raghav Chadha Seeks FIR Against Bhagwant Mann as Sikh Gurus Video Row Escalates: 'AAP Fabricated Forensic Report'

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has escalated a controversy surrounding an alleged video of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann disrespecting Sikh Gurus. Chadha accused the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of fabricating a forensic report to exonerate Mann, demanding his resignation and prosecution under Punjab's new anti-sacrilege law.

Those who had even a slight doubt, suspicion, or doubt about whether this desecration video was real, AI-generated, or fake, have now been cleared of all doubts and suspicions. Bhagwant Mann and the Aam Aadmi Party had to fabricate a forensic report to conceal the actual desecration video...The entire Sikh community, the Guru Nanak Naamleva community, is hurt, angry, and enraged today.

Chadha, a former AAP member, stated that the Sikh community is deeply angered by the incident. "Those who had even a slight doubt, suspicion, or doubt about whether this desecration video was real, AI-generated, or fake, have now been cleared of all doubts and suspicions," Chadha told ANI. He asserted that Mann and the AAP "had to fabricate a forensic report to conceal the actual desecration video." He further called for a thorough investigation into how the report was obtained, who was involved, and whether government or private funds were used to bribe officials, suggesting potential money laundering and misuse of government funds.

The controversy intensified after Gurugram police apprehended two individuals accused of fabricating a forensic report that had initially declared the viral video as fake. Police claim the accused received ₹10 lakh and indicated the involvement of certain Punjab officials. CCTV footage allegedly shows two Punjab Police officials visiting a hotel to arrange the report. The police are preparing to question these officials and may arrest them if concrete evidence emerges.

An investigation should also be conducted into how this fabricated forensic report was procured. Which officers were involved? Which government money or private money was used to bribe this report? Does this also constitute money laundering? Misuse of government funds. All these things are now under investigation, and investigation and action must be taken on this matter...Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann should resign. Under the new sacrilege law, the first FIR and the first prosecution should be against Bhagwant Mann himself.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann maintains that the video is fake and accuses the BJP, Congress, and Shiromani Akali Dal of conspiring to tarnish his image through "dirty politics." He claims that when other methods fail, his opponents resort to defamation.
