Gandhi has accused security forces of using "pellet guns-like deadly weapons" against demonstrators, leading to severe injuries. He wrote to Shah asking if the use of lethal force against students had been personally approved. Gandhi also questioned the authorization of plainclothes personnel seen beating protesters, asking if they were police or "volunteers."

Trinamool Congress MP Sagarika Ghose has submitted a notice seeking to suspend the day's business to discuss the alleged use of "lethal and semi-lethal force" against protesters, including reports of pellet gun injuries attributed to the Rapid Action Force. Delhi Police has denied using pellet guns, while the CRPF has not yet responded to the specific allegations.

Meanwhile, the government is prioritizing legislative action on exam reforms. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced measures against exam leaks, including forming a committee. The bill for a tougher law against paper leaks is scheduled for introduction on Monday. The opposition, however, aims to maintain pressure on the government regarding the police action during the "Sansad Chalo" march.
