Rainie Yang Tears Up Recalling 'Singer' Meltdown, Shares Inner Journey

Taiwanese singer Rainie Yang became emotional as she recounted her experience of a "meltdown" during the live broadcast of the music competition show "Singer 2024" two years ago. While performing on a different show, "The Voice of Heaven 7," Yang became tearful when asked about handling performance setbacks, drawing parallels to her "Singer" experience.

Although I wanted to be calm, sometimes thinking too much and wanting to do well too much, in the end, I might completely fail to meet my own expectations, and even exceed a state and performance that I have never heard before.

Yang explained that her intention in joining "Singer 2024" was to push beyond her comfort zone. However, she admitted that excessive thinking and a strong desire to perform well ultimately led to a result that fell short of her own expectations, in a way she had never encountered before.

Despite the past difficulties, Yang expressed her courage to return to music variety shows stems from her deep love for performing. She believes that succumbing to fear or prioritizing self-protection would mean losing opportunities to engage in activities she enjoys. Her heartfelt sharing moved the audience.
