Rakuten Girls dazzle at Dome with ballet and pop performances

The Rakuten Girls, a popular cheerleading squad, brought a vibrant spectacle to the Taipei Dome during their "SINGDOME Music Radio" theme day, held from August 28th to 30th. The squad showcased a wide range of performances, blending high-energy K-pop choreography with the elegance of classical ballet. Opening the event, the girls donned white tops and denim shorts for a captivating performance of popular songs by Billlie and Nayeon, igniting the crowd. Team leader Lan Lan led members Aby, Rina, Yixuan, Xiaojing, and Xiaofan in a rendition of AKB48's "Heavy Rotation," further amplifying the excitement. A particular highlight was Aby, who transformed into a dreamy "ABY-chan" in a short team jersey and white lace skirt, a concept inspired by a "typhoon promise" she made, captivating attendees. Adding a touch of classical artistry, Japanese member Kaho Takahashi, who has 15 years of ballet training since age three, performed as the Sugar Plum Fairy from "The Nutcracker." Her graceful pointe work and fluid movements demonstrated a deep foundation in ballet, earning admiration from the audience and highlighting the Rakuten Girls' dual talents in both visual appeal and dance prowess. The "SINGDOME Music Radio" event continued with opening dances on August 29th, maintaining the festive atmosphere. During the game, various members, including Lan Lan, Aby, Rina, Zhuang Zhuang, GGG, and Ajie, along with mascots Yuan Qi Kid and Da Sheng, appeared on the third base side. Lin Da from the Rakuten Girls also delivered a special performance on the first base side during the middle of the game.
