Ranucci case: Riesame hearing set for Lavitola on September 7

The Riesame court has set September 7th as the date for a crucial hearing concerning Valter Lavitola, who stands accused of orchestrating an attack against Sigfrido Ranucci. This legal proceeding marks a significant step in the ongoing investigation into the alleged plot.

During the upcoming hearing, Lavitola, a former publisher and entrepreneur, is expected to deliver spontaneous declarations, according to his defense lawyers. This move could potentially shed new light on the events and Lavitola's alleged involvement.

The tribunal's task is to evaluate the necessity of ongoing precautionary measures against Lavitola and to consider the charge of using mafia-style methods, which has been added to the case. The defense team had previously filed an appeal, prompting this review by the Riesame court.
