Ranveer Singh-Starrer 'Dhurandhar' Releases in Japanese Cinemas

Jio Studios announced Friday that the Ranveer Singh-led film 'Dhurandhar' is now making its debut in Japanese cinemas. The studio shared the movie's poster, featuring details in Japanese, signaling the film's expansion into the international market.

"The roar that shook India... now echoes through Japan. Experience Dhurandhar in cinemas now only in Japan," Jio Studios posted on X, highlighting the film's transition from Indian success to Japanese screens.

Written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, and with Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar also producing, 'Dhurandhar' is embarking on a new chapter. The film was initially released in India on December 5, 2025, and quickly became one of Hindi cinema's biggest theatrical successes.

The 'Dhurandhar' franchise has achieved remarkable success, with the second installment, 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge,' released in March 2026. Together, the films have surpassed ₹3,000 crore worldwide, marking the first time an Indian film series has reached this financial milestone. Presented by Jio Studios and produced by B62 Studios, the franchise's global triumph is a testament to its widespread appeal.
