Following imaging tests that confirmed the injury, Raphinha is expected to remain with the Brazilian national team squad currently training in the United States for the World Cup. Raphinha was substituted in the first half of Brazil's 3-0 victory over Haiti on Friday after feeling pain in his right posterior thigh muscle. This latest injury is particularly concerning as it is the fifth time this season the player has experienced problems with his right thigh.
