Rapper Gree reveals 23-year-younger half-sister

Rapper Gree, whose real name is Kim Dong-hyun, has introduced his half-sister, who is 23 years his junior. The revelation came through the first video on his personal YouTube channel, 'Kim Gree,' launched on June 5. The video documents a trip to Disneyland with his 6-year-old sister, Su-hyun, who is the daughter of his father, comedian Kim Gura, from his second marriage.

I launched the channel to achieve complete independence from my father. I uploaded the video of my trip with my sister as the first episode to grab attention early on.

Gree explained on the channel that he aims for complete independence from his father and launched the channel to gain attention. He admitted that featuring his trip with his sister was a strategic choice for the initial episode. When broadcaster Hong Jin-kyung complimented the sister's cuteness, Gree humorously remarked that she only smiles for the camera at his father's insistence and is usually stoic.

My dad makes me do it so much that she only smiles in front of the camera and is usually aloof.

Despite his playful teasing, Gree showed genuine affection for his younger sibling. He shared that one of his bucket list items is to run in her place at her sports day. Kim Gura, Gree's father, remarried in December 2020 to a non-celebrity 12 years his junior, and the couple welcomed their daughter the following year.
