Rapper Haftbefehl announces break due to health struggles

German rapper Haftbefehl, known for his hit "Chabos wissen, wer der Babo ist," has announced an indefinite hiatus from performing, citing significant health challenges. The 40-year-old artist, whose birth name is Aykut Anhan, shared his decision on Instagram, stating he is currently not in the emotional or physical condition to perform.

Anhan explained that his ongoing health and personal struggles, which were partly depicted in the recent Netflix documentary "Babo – Die Haftbefehl-Story," have been exacerbated by the "great attention" and "all the fuss" following its release. The documentary shed light on his battle with drug addiction and cocaine use, including a near-fatal overdose.
