Rapper Xiong Zi Celebrates 10 Years with Heartfelt Tribute to Wife and Mother

Rapper Xiong Zi marked his decade-long career in the music industry with a special concert, "Personality Specialization Therapy → 0," held at Legacy in Taipei. The event symbolized his growth from youthful ambition to a more grounded understanding of himself, embracing a philosophy of "returning to zero."

During the concert, Xiong Zi publicly expressed his profound appreciation for his wife, Li You, often referred to as "Netizen Goddess." He thanked her for her constant support, acknowledging her dual role as a caregiver for their daughter and for him, allowing him the freedom to pursue his artistic endeavors. "Thank you, wife, for letting me do what I love. You not only take care of our daughter but also take care of me. Wife, I love you," he shared, highlighting their strong partnership.

The concert featured a diverse lineup of guests, including YouTuber Xiao Wei Ba, rapper wannasleep, and Canfree, a rapper battling stage four cancer, for whom Xiong Zi produced a song. His close friends and collaborators Hansan and BR also joined him on stage, performing several energetic tracks. Xiong Zi also revisited his Golden Melody Award-winning song "88BARS," showcasing his signature rapid-fire delivery and even inviting four fans on stage for a rap battle.

Reflecting on his journey, Xiong Zi shared that 10 years ago, he was uncertain about pursuing music. Now, with a family, he navigates multiple roles as an artist, husband, and father. He also revealed that his mother's recent hospitalization and surgery for cancer occurred during the ticket sales for the concert. He dedicated his performance of the song "Cai Zi," written about his mother, to her, expressing his gratitude to the medical staff and his determination to continue his career, partly to show his mother his achievements.
