Raquel Bigorra defends 'La casa de los famosos Mexico' contestants from boredom claims

Raquel Bigorra, a seasoned participant in reality television, has stepped in to defend the current season of "La casa de los famosos Mexico." Having experienced the isolation and pressure of shows like "Big Brother VIP 4" and "La casa de los famosos Mexico" herself, Bigorra understands the challenges contestants face.

"The house is not easy. It depressed me because they isolate you from your reality and lock you in with others who want to get you out. It doesn't matter how they feel about you, there will only be one winner," Bigorra told reporters. She specifically addressed criticism that the current season is boring or that participants are like "furniture," a label previously applied to Yanet García.

"I am a fan of the house. They started with this furniture thing, but if I'm honest, they don't bore me; maybe it's part of the show and I'm loving it," she added. Bigorra also supports the show's strategy of mixing celebrities with influencers, arguing that relying solely on well-known artists would limit the reality show's options.

"We are running out of artists. Look how wonderful it was that in the last season we got an Aarón Mercury, whom I later saw conquer 'Las estrellas bailan en Hoy.' Now you have to mix it up, and there will be some real gems," she explained. Bigorra also touched on her return to comedy with the upcoming show "Mexico lindo y que risa," noting that Mexico's appreciation for comedians ensures consistent work. She expressed no fear of cancellation for potentially politically incorrect jokes, believing the Mexican audience can distinguish humor from offense.
