Ras Al Hadd continues its efforts to protect sea turtles

The Environment Centre within the Turtle Reserve in Ras Al Hadd is actively engaged in protecting endangered sea turtles. Specialists have recently achieved a significant milestone by successfully managing 56 stranded turtles. This intervention demonstrates the center's commitment and capacity to rescue and rehabilitate marine life facing difficulties.

Beyond rescue operations, the reserve has also been diligently monitoring nesting activities. During its latest conservation period, the center recorded an impressive total of over one thousand sea turtle nests. This high number of nests indicates a positive trend for the turtle population in the area, reflecting the success of the ongoing protection efforts.
