Record Crowds and Star Power Mark Opening Night of ULTRA Europe Festival

ULTRA Europe kicked off its 12th edition in Split, Croatia, with a record-breaking opening night that saw the Park Mladeži stadium filled to capacity. Tens of thousands of attendees, hailing from more than 140 countries, created a palpable sense of "UNITY" as they danced together under the festival lights.

The Main Stage buzzed with performances from global superstars like John Summit, DJ Snake, and Afrojack, alongside Oliver Heldens and Subtronics. Meanwhile, the RESISTANCE stage offered a deep dive into underground sounds, featuring sets from CamelPhat, Adam Beyer, Miss Monique, Deer Jade, and Croatian representative DJ Jock.

John Summit, a leading figure in the new generation of electronic music, delivered a headline set that ignited the crowd with energy and emotion. DJ Snake and Afrojack also captivated the audience, with Afrojack's performance culminating in an emotional tribute to Avicii, featuring the iconic track "Wake Me Up." This moment transformed the festival grounds into a massive sing-along, evoking memories of a past era in electronic music.

Oliver Heldens took the audience back to 2013 with a performance of his breakthrough hit "Gecko," a song that launched his career in the same year ULTRA Europe first began. Millions worldwide tuned in to the official #ULTRALIVE broadcast, experiencing the festival's electrifying atmosphere in real-time.
