Recovery progresses for comedian Luis de Alba after severe facial injury

Mexican comedian Luis de Alba, widely known for his character "El Pirruris," is showing signs of recovery following a fall at his Mexico City home. Weeks after the accident, the severe bruising that discolored much of his face has begun to fade.

During an appearance on the program "Hoy," De Alba provided an update on his condition. He revealed that he did not use any medication to reduce the bruising, which has been diminishing naturally. He even joked about his appearance, quipping that he might be mistaken for a wrestler, "El Mapache Atómico" (The Atomic Raccoon), due to the swelling around his eyes.

De Alba recounted that the fall occurred after he fainted while alone in his home. His wife, Abigail, who was away at the time, became concerned when she couldn't reach him and asked a neighbor to check on him. The neighbor found De Alba still on the floor.

Despite the frightening incident, the comedian has maintained his sense of humor. He shared that he was hospitalized and has hazy memories of the event itself. His wife, upon returning, convinced him to seek medical attention.
