Rehabilitation program's baking achievements celebrated in Taiwan

Xiangri Farm hosted a "Baking Achievement Exhibition" on Monday, celebrating the culinary skills developed by individuals participating in rehabilitation programs. The event, organized by the Shilin District Prosecutor's Office and the Shilin branch of the Recovery Protection Association, aimed to showcase the progress and dedication of those working towards reintegration into society.

Minister of Justice Cheng Ming-chuan, along with other high-ranking officials including Zhang Dou-hui, president of the Recovery Protection Association, and Hong Xin-xu, director of the Ministry of Justice's Protection Division, were present to commend the participants. The exhibition featured a variety of baked goods, representing the culmination of the farm's baking skills training program.

Minister Cheng Ming-chuan specifically praised the courage and perseverance demonstrated by the individuals in the program. The event underscored the importance of vocational training and skill development in supporting the successful rehabilitation and social reintegration of former offenders, offering them a pathway to a more stable future.
