Relegated Vejle stumbles against promoted AB in season opener

In a surprising turn of events, newly promoted AB secured a 2-2 draw against relegated Vejle in their opening match of the 1. division season. The match, played in Nørreskoven, saw the two clubs, who were in the Superliga and 2. division respectively last spring, face off in a league above their previous standings.

Vejle experienced a rough start, conceding a goal in the 12th minute.
