Removed CHP Iğdır Provincial Organization: 'We Do Not Recognize the Void Management'

The recently dismissed Iğdır Provincial Organization of the Republican People's Party (CHP) has issued a statement declaring their non-recognition of the administration appointed by the party's headquarters following a court decision. Nizamettin Ada, who was removed from his post as Provincial Head, stated that he and the provincial executive board received notifications of their dismissal.

Ada asserted that the provincial leadership was democratically elected by party members and that they had worked diligently to serve the CHP and the Iğdır region during their tenure. He argued that the decision to remove them was politically driven, stemming from their refusal to submit to what he termed a "butlan" (void or invalid) management. "If we had acted as they wished, we could still be in our seats today. However, our issue is not about seats, but about the country," Ada declared.

Expressing continued loyalty to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, Ada emphasized, "Our chairman is Mr. Özgür Özel. We do not recognize any other chairman. We stand with the elected, not the appointed." The group pledged to continue defending the will of the people within the CHP, founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Ada concluded by stating their struggle is to find solutions for the problems faced by workers, farmers, retirees, producers, and the public, reiterating that the CHP is the party of the people and they will continue to stand with them.
