Reniec offers Sunday DNI collection in Pucallpa through June and July

The National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec) in Peru is implementing special Sunday service hours at its Pucallpa office throughout June and July 2026. This initiative allows citizens who have pending National Identity Documents (DNI) to collect them without needing to take time off during the work or academic week.

The Oficina Registral Pucallpa will open its doors on Sundays, June 21 and July 5, 12, and 19. The service will be available from 8:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. exclusively for the delivery of already processed identity documents.

This measure is designed to offer more convenient access to essential documents, particularly for those whose schedules make it challenging to visit during standard operating hours. Reniec also aims to help distribute the flow of users, reducing congestion on weekdays.

Citizens are advised to check the status of their DNI application through Reniec's official platform before visiting the office. This ensures they only come when their document is ready for collection, streamlining the process.
