Ride-share driver brutally attacked and robbed by four men in Frankfurt

Frankfurt police are investigating a brutal assault and robbery that occurred early Sunday morning in the Sachsenhausen district. Four men are accused of severely injuring and robbing a 36-year-old driver for a ride-sharing service after being dropped off at their destination.

The incident unfolded after the driver transported the suspects to their location in Sachsenhausen. According to police reports, the four men allegedly dragged the driver out of his vehicle and proceeded to assault him. During the attack, they stole his cash before fleeing the scene.

The injured driver was subsequently taken to a hospital for treatment. Police indicated that an argument may have started during the ride, stemming from the behavior of the four passengers. The driver had picked up the group at a club located near the airport.

The criminal police have now taken over the investigation into the violent crime.
