River Plate hits historic low with fourth straight loss and scoring drought

Despite the team's struggles, River Plate continues to bring in new talent. Francisco Ortega, a left-back from Olympiacos, and midfielder Tobías Andrada, signed from Vélez, were introduced to the squad. The club is also awaiting the arrival of Thiago Almada, who is set to become the most expensive signing in Argentine football history.
