A man identified only as Richard is in police custody in Rivers State following the death of his lover, Caroline Sunday. The incident occurred in Eneka, within the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, after a domestic dispute allegedly involving accusations of infidelity.

Officers from the Eneka Police Division responded to the distress call and found the suspect restrained by angry residents. The victim's body has been recovered and taken to the mortuary.
