Road Excavation Causes Delays on TransJakarta's 'Sky Route'

Passengers using TransJakarta's Koridor 13, known as the 'Sky Route,' faced significant delays on Thursday morning. The disruptions were caused by ongoing water excavation work on Ciledug Raya street, leading to traffic congestion in the Petukangan and Batas Kreo areas.

TransJakarta announced the delays via its social media accounts, stating that routes 13B and L13E were affected. "Koridor 13, Route 13B and Route L13E are experiencing bus arrival delays due to water channel excavation work, resulting in traffic density around Petukangan to Batas Kreo Jl. Ciledug Raya. We apologize for the inconvenience," the statement read.

The delays resulted in passenger buildup at several bus stops that are typically not crowded. Halte Swadarma Paragon, in particular, saw visible congestion persisting until 8:30 AM Western Indonesia Time. The frequency of buses for routes 13, 13B, and L13E slowed down considerably, with the main buses already full before reaching Swadarma Paragon, leaving many passengers waiting.
