Roads in 3 Istanbul Districts to Close Tomorrow for Event

Istanbul authorities have announced that several roads across three districts will be temporarily closed to traffic on June 15 due to an upcoming event.

The Istanbul Security Directorate stated that the road closures will begin at 9:00 AM and remain in effect until the event concludes. The affected areas include Reşadiye, Ragıp Gümüşpala, Abdülezelpaşa, Mürselpaşa, Ayvansaray, Kadir Has, Meclis-i Mebusan, Kemeraltı, Dolmabahçe, Beşiktaş, Eski Yıldız, Çırağan, and Tersane streets. Additionally, a section of Sahil Kennedy Caddesi between Çatladıkapı and Sirkeci lights, the road leading from Refik Saydam Caddesi towards Unkapanı, and the route between İnönü Caddesi and Şehitler Tepesi will also be closed.

Drivers are advised to use alternative routes, which include Vatan, Millet, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Paşa, Palanga, Asariye, Portakal Yokuşu, Dereboyu, Asker Ocağı, İnönü, Evliya Çelebi streets, and Tarlabaşı Boulevard. The Unkapanı Bridge will also serve as an alternative passage.
