Roadside bomb kills top anti-Houthi military leader in Yemen

Brig. Gen. Yahya Wahish, a prominent commander within the government-aligned National Resistance Forces in Yemen, was killed Saturday when a roadside bomb struck his convoy. The incident occurred in the Al-Khawkhah district of Hodeidah province, a key area on Yemen's western coast.

Military authorities reported that Wahish, who led the First Brigade of the National Resistance Forces, died along with one of his escorts in the explosion. Two other members of the convoy sustained injuries. The National Resistance Forces issued a statement detailing the attack and mourning the loss of their commander.
