Rock im Park festival ends with sunshine and good spirits

Rock im Park wrapped up under sunny skies with a vibrant atmosphere, drawing enthusiastic crowds for its final day. Fans expressed delight with the overall experience, with one attendee, Julian from Sauerland, describing the mood as "mega." His wife, Ivana, added that the people were "super" and "totally helpful."

The festival, held in Nuremberg, kicked off on Friday and was sold out. The final day began with sunshine and warm temperatures. While some attendees were still recovering from previous nights, others were already gathered before the main stage for the first concert. The rap duo Mehnersmoos engaged the crowd, who responded with loud cheers and energetic dancing.

Later performances on the main stage were scheduled to include The Hives, Papa Roach, and Linkin Park. The festival ran concurrently with its twin event, Rock am Ring, in the Eifel region, where the same lineup performed. Many festival-goers arrived as early as Thursday, having celebrated throughout the preceding days. Leonhard from Munich acknowledged the enjoyment of the final day but also looked forward to resting at home.
