Rod Stewart Postpones Tour After Undergoing Stent Procedure

Legendary British musician Rod Stewart has temporarily halted his 'One Last Time Tour' following a recent medical procedure. The 81-year-old singer successfully underwent the insertion of a coronary stent and is reportedly in good health, having already returned to daily activities. However, medical professionals have advised a four-week recovery period before he can resume performing.

This recommendation has led to the cancellation or postponement of several planned concerts across North America, including dates in Kansas City, Las Vegas, Minnesota, Illinois, Colorado, and Mexico. Stewart expressed his deep disappointment over missing these performances and apologized to his fans for the inconvenience. He assured them that his recovery is progressing well and that he eagerly anticipates returning to the stage soon.

This is not the first health-related disruption to Stewart's tour this year. In early August, a concert in Cincinnati was postponed due to an unforeseen minor medical procedure. Previously, in June, he had to cancel several shows after being diagnosed with an acute upper respiratory tract infection that caused laryngitis, leading to the postponement of concerts in Las Vegas and San Diego.

Despite these health challenges, Stewart remains optimistic about his recovery. He recently shared a moment from a concert in Utah where he briefly paused to use an oxygen bottle, highlighting the ongoing nature of his health management. He continues to communicate his commitment to returning to his fans as soon as he is medically cleared.
