Roig Arena Draws 1.7 Million Visitors in Its First Year

Roig Arena’s first year in operation brought in more than 1.7 million visitors, surpassing the initial forecast of about one million. The multi-purpose venue in Valencia hosted 310 events, including Valencia Basket games, concerts, entertainment shows and corporate gatherings.

The arena opened on Sept. 6, 2025, with the tribute concert “Bravo, Nino.” Music quickly became one of its main attractions. A total of 800,000 people attended 125 concerts, with 710,000 in the main arena and 90,000 in the auditorium.

The venue cost 400 million euros to build, including urban development works and a school. Its management says the first year established Roig Arena as one of Europe’s leading covered venues and helped put Valencia on the regular circuit for major national and international tours.

Quevedo drew the largest audience, attracting more than 19,000 people on Oct. 25, 2025. The international program included Pet Shop Boys, Hans Zimmer, Ed Sheeran, Rod Stewart, 5 Seconds of Summer, Chayanne, André Rieu, Camilo, Laura Pausini, Rawayana and The Waterboys. The venue also hosted the LOS40 Music Awards, featuring artists including Ed Sheeran and Rosalía.

The auditorium provided a smaller setting for emerging and established performers, including Rusowsky, La M.O.D.A., Taburete, Biffy Clyro, The Psychedelic Furs, The Cat Empire and Suede. The program also featured Spanish artists such as Manuel Carrasco, Joaquín Sabina, Aitana and Dani Martín, who currently has the most scheduled performances at the venue.
