Romania's Sunday lottery draws offer jackpots worth millions of lei

The biggest prize in Romania's Sunday lottery draw is at Joker, where the first-category jackpot has climbed above 5.73 million lei, more than 1.09 million euros.

The second category at the same game offers more than 633,500 lei, or over 120,500 euros. Noroc Plus has a first-category rollover of more than 786,800 lei, about 149,700 euros.

Loto 6/49 is offering more than 4.48 million lei, equivalent to over 853,600 euros, in its first category. The accumulated Noroc prize is higher, exceeding 4.53 million lei, or more than 862,300 euros.

The other games also carry prizes in the hundreds of thousands of lei. Loto 5/40's first category has passed 969,900 lei, while Super Noroc's first-category prize exceeds 403,000 lei.

The rollovers followed Thursday's draws, when the Romanian Lottery awarded more than 19,800 prizes worth over 1.67 million lei in total. Because the top prizes in several popular games went unclaimed, they were added to the next draws, leaving Joker with a jackpot above the symbolic one-million-euro threshold.
