Romania: Teachers' permanent position exam set for July 21

Romanian teachers seeking permanent positions will face a written examination on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, as part of the Titularizare 2026 process. The exam is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM and will last for four hours, adhering to a strict set of regulations designed to ensure fairness and integrity.

Candidates are required to present themselves at the designated competition centers before 8:00 AM. Upon arrival, they will be identified and seated in their assigned examination rooms. Strict rules are in place, prohibiting the use of mobile phones or any auxiliary materials during the test. Only blue ink writing instruments are permitted.

The examination procedure, approved by the Ministry of Education and Research, outlines that the envelopes containing the exam questions will be opened precisely at 9:00 AM in the presence of the candidates. Participants can only leave permanently after submitting their completed work, the exam questions, and any draft papers, signing a confirmation of submission. Temporary exits are permitted only in exceptional circumstances and require accompaniment by an assistant teacher, with no extension granted to the exam time.
