Romanian Lawmaker Proposes National Unity Government to Designated Prime Minister

Romanian deputy Anamaria Gavrilă has put forward a proposal for a national unity government to the designated prime minister, Eugen Tomac. Gavrilă, representing the "United for Romania" parliamentary group, met with Tomac on Tuesday to discuss the formation of a new government.

Following the meeting, Gavrilă indicated that she perceives a significant deadlock concerning the list of proposed ministers. To overcome this impasse, she presented Tomac with the idea of forming a government of national unity. This approach suggests a broader coalition aimed at including diverse political forces.
