Rosario and Julieta Ortega visit their father Palito’s hometown in Tucumán

Julieta and Rosario Ortega traveled to Lules in Tucumán to revisit the hometown and childhood memories of their father, singer Palito Ortega.

Julieta, who has recently kept a low profile in the media, shared photographs from the nostalgic trip on her official Instagram account. The sisters visited the old railway station in Lules and other places tied to their family history.

Among the images was a photograph of Palito Ortega as a child, along with another older picture of the singer standing in front of the house where he grew up. The home has a pale facade, weathered paint, curved roof tiles and a dark wooden door marked with the number 24.

The trip took place alongside Palito Ortega’s new tour, “Muchacho que vas cantando,” which reached Tucumán on August 29 with a sold-out show. Rosario and Julieta used the occasion to walk through the city where their father spent much of his childhood.
