Roskilde Festival generates funds for charity

The Roskilde Festival, a major annual event in Denmark, operates with a core mission beyond entertainment: generating funds for charitable endeavors. Organized by the Roskilde Festival Society, the festival's profits are entirely dedicated to humanitarian, charitable, and cultural work, with a particular emphasis on supporting children and young people.

Since its inception in 1971, the festival has channeled a significant amount of money to various causes, totaling approximately 476 million Danish kroner.
