Rostock Seawolves coach confident ahead of best season yet

The Rostock Seawolves are gearing up for the new basketball season with high expectations, as head coach Przemysław Frasunkiewicz declared his confidence that it will be their best season yet. After two and a half weeks of training and two wins in three preparation games, the team's leadership is optimistic about their prospects.

"I am convinced that this will be our best season – the best of the three seasons since I've been here," Frasunkiewicz stated. The team features seven players from the previous season, complemented by five new signings and four youth players. The Polish coach emphasized the team's readiness to compete.

Beyond domestic competition, the Seawolves are set to make their debut in the Eurocup, adding an international dimension to their season. While excitement is high, Jürgens acknowledged the organizational demands, particularly with seven home games scheduled for Tuesday evenings. "This means we have to appeal to a completely different target group here. But we already know in which direction we want to move," he noted. The team's first official match of the season is scheduled for September 11 in the cup competition against the Veolia Towers Hamburg.
