Rotorua jewellery store raid: Witness says five people fled in a car

Five people were allegedly seen looting a jewellery store in Rotorua and loading items into a waiting vehicle before fleeing, a witness said.

An employee at KV Tech, across the road from Pascoes The Jewellers, said he heard noises outside the store that morning and went to investigate. A member of the public tried to intervene as the vehicle left the scene.
