RTVE apologizes for mistranslating footballer's mother due to Andalusian accent

Spanish public broadcaster RTVE has issued an apology for mistranslating the Andalusian accent of footballer Fabián Ruiz's mother in a documentary, calling it a "big mistake." The broadcaster's president, José Pablo López, stated that the Andalusian dialect is a valuable part of Spain's cultural heritage and should never be treated as an "idiomatic barrier."
