Rudy Tanoe fulfills KPK summons

Bambang Rudijanto Tanoesoedibjo, the Chief Commissioner of PT Dosni Roha Logistik, appeared before the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Tuesday to testify as a witness.

Tanoe, also known as Rudy Tanoe, is being questioned in connection with an alleged corruption case involving the distribution of rice social aid for beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program (PKH) during the 2020 fiscal year. He arrived at the KPK headquarters and proceeded to the examination room without making any comments.

This appearance follows an earlier request for postponement. Tanoe's legal representative, Ricky HP Sitohang, had informed the KPK that his client could not attend a previous summons on August 6, 2026, due to a scheduled health examination. Sitohang emphasized that Tanoe intended to cooperate and respect legal procedures, having contacted the KPK on August 5 to propose a new schedule.

Previously, in February, the KPK had requested the Directorate General of Immigration to impose a six-month travel ban on Rudy Tanoe. This travel restriction was also applied to two other individuals implicated in the same social aid corruption case: Edi Suharto, a Staf Ahli Menteri Sosial, and Kanisius Jerry Tengker, the President Director of PT Dosni Roha Logistik. While Herry Tho, a Director at PT Dosni Roha Logistik, was also initially prevented from traveling, he has since regained his freedom and remains a witness.
