Louis Bielle-Biarrey, the dynamic winger for France's national rugby union team and Union Bordeaux-Bègles (UBB), has set his sights on a major athletic ambition: competing in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games with the French national Sevens rugby team.

At 23 years old, Bielle-Biarrey is currently in contract negotiations with UBB, which are set to expire in July 2027. Reports suggest that his potential contract extension with the club is contingent on his ability to be released to pursue the France 7 project leading up to the Olympics.

This ambition follows the successful Olympic participation of other high-profile XVs players, most notably Antoine Dupont, who joined the Sevens squad for the Paris 2024 Games. Bielle-Biarrey confirmed his aspirations in an interview with L'Équipe, describing the Olympics as "the holy grail for any athlete."
