Ruling party leader: Han Dong-hoon's return would not help party expansion or unity

The leader of South Korea's ruling People Power Party, Jang Dong-hyuk, has firmly stated that readmitting former Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon would not benefit the party. Jang believes Han's return would not help the party expand, form alliances, or achieve internal unity.

Accepting former Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon back into the party would not aid its expansion, alliance, or internal unity.

Jang's remarks, made on KBS, addressed Han's expulsion from the party. He emphasized that Han was removed due to criminal acts, and these matters have not been resolved. Therefore, Jang argued, it is not the appropriate time to discuss readmission or alliances.
