Russia Reports Six Dead in Ukrainian Drone Attack on Belgorod; Wildfire Erupts in France

Russia has reported that six people died in a Ukrainian drone attack on the city of Belgorod. The national crisis and emergency center stated that the attack also injured 25 people, including two children. The death toll rose after rescue teams searched a burning apartment building.

According to the regional governor, Aleksandr Syuvayev, fires broke out in two apartment buildings, and several homes and commercial properties sustained damage. The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces had intercepted more than 150 Ukrainian drones over European Russia, Crimea, and the Black and Azov Seas.

In other news, a wildfire erupted in the Lozère region of southern France, prompting the evacuation of two villages. Approximately 220 firefighters are battling the blaze, which has already consumed 90 hectares. Four firefighting aircraft are involved in the effort, and the fire may have originated from a car fire on a local road.
