Russia warns Britain of 'consequences' over Ukraine drone supply

Russia has issued a stern warning to Britain, stating that supplying drones to Ukraine for attacks on Russian soil will inevitably lead to consequences.

The Russian embassy in London responded to a report that British-made drones had been used for long-range strikes within Russia for the first time. In a statement posted on its Telegram channel, the embassy declared, "London's actions will inevitably carry consequences for which it will have to answer." It further asserted, "The deeper its involvement in the conflict and the greater its support for Kyiv's terrorist machinery, the higher the price it will pay."

Ukraine has been employing deep-strike drones to target oil refineries and logistics facilities. While Britain's Ministry of Defense has not confirmed the use of British drones, the country has committed to providing Ukraine with 150,000 drones by the end of 2026 as part of a £752 million funding package.
