Russia warns UK of consequences over Ukraine drone support

Russia's embassy in London has accused the United Kingdom of deliberately escalating the conflict in Ukraine. The embassy stated that the UK will pay an increasing price for its deeper involvement and warned that London must be held accountable for the consequences of supporting what it called the "Kyiv terrorist apparatus."

These accusations come in response to Ukraine reportedly using drones marked "Made in UK" to strike targets in Moscow. British Prime Minister Andy Burnham quickly responded to the direct messages from Russia, asserting that Moscow's threats would not alter Britain's unwavering support for Ukraine. He affirmed that the UK stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Ukraine and will not cease providing the equipment necessary for Ukraine's defense against what he described as Putin's illegal invasion.

The British Ministry of Defence echoed this sentiment, reiterating its commitment to supporting Ukraine. The ministry stated it stands with Ukraine and will not abandon its efforts to ensure Ukraine receives the equipment it needs to defend itself against the ongoing invasion.
