Russian Strikes Across Ukraine Kill 10; Missile Enters Polish Airspace

A barrage of Russian ballistic missiles and drones across Ukraine overnight killed at least 10 civilians, including children, and injured more than 50 others. NATO confirmed that a Russian missile entered Polish airspace during the onslaught, landing in a rural area without causing injuries or damage. However, the incident heightened tensions between the military alliance and Moscow. NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte called it "yet another reckless act by Russia and a dangerous consequence of its war against Ukraine."

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk described the event as "a very serious incident" but emphasized that "there are absolutely no reasons to believe that Poland was the target." The Russian strikes targeted areas in Ukraine believed to be storing and manufacturing weapons, including air bases, arms factories, and drone facilities, according to the Russian defense ministry. This comes as Ukrainian long-range drones and missiles have recently targeted Russia's oil sector.

In Kyiv, tens of thousands of residents spent the night sheltering in subway stations due to the relentless bombardment. Officials reported that dozens of homes, businesses, and infrastructure facilities were damaged across at least 10 Ukrainian regions.
