The agency stated, “We have confirmed that a fine was imposed for violating the bus-only lane while driving a company vehicle during a schedule. We have completed the payment of the fine immediately upon receiving the notice.” The agency did not disclose the number of violations or the total amount of the fines.

The admission follows a report by entertainment media outlet Ten Asia, which alleged that Ryu had repeatedly used the bus-only lane in a 7-seater Carnival while he was affiliated with Y1 Entertainment in 2024. The report highlighted that such vehicles are not permitted to use bus-only lanes. The agency's confirmation addresses these allegations, emphasizing their commitment to rectifying the situation and preventing future occurrences.
