Safe Traffic Light plan operations continue on Guatemala City’s Roosevelt Avenue after armed attacks

Security operations under Guatemala’s Safe Traffic Light plan continued Tuesday on Roosevelt Avenue following armed attacks along the route.

The National Civil Police and the Guatemalan Army carried out security checks and identified people in the area. During the operation, officers impounded a Yamaha motorcycle that was traveling without a license plate, according to a video shared on the police’s social media.
