Samoa Police Boost Independence Security with Australian Radio Donation

The Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services expresses its profound gratitude for the ongoing support from the Australian Federal Police (AFP), a partnership that continues to bolster our capabilities.

The recent donation of 100 portable radios and accessories, valued at approximately $200,000 talā, through the Samoa Australia Police Partnership (SAPP), is a timely and crucial contribution. These radios will significantly enhance our operational policing, coordination, and communication efforts as we prepare for the upcoming Independence Celebrations.

Acting Commissioner Leiataua Samuelu Afamasaga officially received the equipment from AFP Senior Responsible Officer Superintendent Simon Penny.
